A week ago I received a box of lovely yarn goodies, all these yarns are vegan friendly and are from a great UK store that specialises in vegan friendly yarns. The shop is run by a lovely lady called Kelly and she asked if I would test these yarns and give her some feedback, mainly photos of what I make with them that she can use.
This lovely box of yarn arrived on my birthday and it was perfect timing (coincidence not planned), as I was having a really tough day and seeing a box of yarn really made my day. I was feeling so low that day and really not up to celebrating anything, so we ended up delaying my birthday celebrations till the next day. This lovely box of yarn however really helped make my day just that little better and hey who can resist not feeling happy when they get yarn in the post?
I wanted to share this yarn with you, you may have already seen them as when they came I posted on my instagram account with lots of lovely yarn photos. I wanted to share them here especially as I want to come back and post about them when I use them.
I have never had the pleasure of trying any of these yarns before so I am looking forward to it 🙂 going on how they look and feel I am already in love and can see myself ordering them in the future. I look forward to testing them and seeing what they are like to work with and how the finished item looks. They are all lovely yarns and are by some well known yarn designers/brands, Debbie Bliss and Louisa Harding. I have heard of their yarns before so I am super excited to try them!
If you want to check out this fantastic yarn store you can, it’s called Vegan Yarn Store. She sells so many gorgeous yarns of all types and I have a few I am looking forward to trying in the future including yarn made from Banana’s…yes you heard me right!
So now onto some gorgeous yarn porn 🙂 some are new yarns she is looking to stock so not all are currently available in her store. In fact some of the ones I have are currently on sale, so if your tempted its worth checking out. If they are available on her yarn store I will provide a direct link under the photo, if there is no link it means it’s not currently available.
Well that’s it for the yarn porn but as you can see they are all gorgeous <3 I can’t wait to start using them. I have a few pattern ideas and am hoping to start testing in between my current planned projects. I will of course be doing my usual and sharing this on Instagram and also plan to blog about it as well. So if you have yet had the pleasure to try these yarns you might enjoy seeing my feedback and results.
I’d like to end by saying a big thank you to Kelly at Vegan Yarn Store and I am very much looking forward to testing these lovely yarns and making something nice with them.
