Hello Everyone,

Thank you for coming to read my review on this fantastic new yarn that is being launched tomorrow (Sunday the 24th of April), it’s been a pleasure to be involved in this project with Three Bears Yarn. As my regular followers will know I have had the pleasure of testing several of their yarns and I have enjoyed trying out every single one and this one has been no exception. I first tried this yarn before I became involved in the project so I hope you will view my review as a fair and honest. Continue reading

Three Bears Yarn: Rosie’s Acrylic Slub DK – My First Creation!

Hello Again 🙂

I hope you all enjoyed my post yesterday and for those that were not sure what Slub yarn was do now 🙂 , I wasn’t sure what it was until I was given this yarn to try out and I soon became a big fan!

Today I thought I would share the first thing I made with this yarn, which was back in January as I was given the yarn to try when it was originally being trialled. I remember seeing the cone of yarn (what samples are often supplied on) for the first time and thinking “wow what is this?” and I was really surprised when I found out it was an Acrylic Slub yarn. I couldn’t wait to try it out and see what it was like as I had never used Slub yarn before. Continue reading

Three Bears Yarn: What is Slub Yarn?

So I’ve had the honour of a yarn inspired by and named after me from the lovely Three Bears Yarn , it’s called Rosie’s Acrylic Slub which is to be launched on 24th April. I was originally sent a sample of this during the trial period and was surprised by it in two ways, the first one is it was an Acrylic yarn that I liked (I’m really not a fan) and compared to other Acrylics I’ve tried this one is worlds apart in a good way. I was also surprised by the texture of the yarn and how versatile it has ended up being, I remember when working with it I had to keep reminding myself this is Acrylic! Continue reading

Three Bears Yarn Review; Lilac (Purple Passion) 4ply Yarn Sample

Firstly I would like to apologise for how long it has taken me to post up my last review of the samples I received from Three Bears Yarn back in September, unfortunately my health started to get worse at the end of the month and I came down with the Flu and this was shortly after I had just finished testing their 4ply yarn sample. I am here now though and ready to share my review with you and for those that have been following along with the other reviews I did of my sample yarns thank you for your patience and I hope you’ll enjoy reading this one too.

Three Bears Yarn are a new British company, based in Lancashire and  launched their range of cotton yarns on the 1st of October. I received a sample of each of their yarns in the beginning of September and throughout September I was busy working on their samples and reviewing them which I hope you’ve enjoyed reading, and even found helpful. I have really been enjoying trying their yarns, especially as being a vegan cotton is my most used yarn fibre. It’s lovely to find a new British company that is offering cotton yarns :-) and I love that I now have even more yarn options!

For those of you who saw my last post you’ll know that I am currently testing and reviewing some yarn samples from Three Bears Yarn, if you haven’t seen this post and would like to you can do so here. Today I am here to review another of their yarn samples that they sent me, from their cotton DK Chenille range.

Just a quick re-cap for those that don’t know; a few weeks ago a new British company called Three Bears Yarn sent me some yarn samples to try. They sent me a sample of each of their yarns that they’ll be launching on the 1st of October which are 4ply, DK, Aran and DK Chenille. They are based in Lancashire and all their yarns are cotton, as this is one of the main yarn fibres I use being vegan I was very excited when I heard about them. I was delighted when I was given a chance to sample their yarn and tell you all about it 🙂 and that’s why I am here today.

Three Bears Yarn Review; Blue (Mermaid Cove) Aran Yarn Sample

A few weeks ago I received some yarn samples from a new British yarn company called Three Bears Yarn, who are based in Lancashire. I was very excited about this new company as soon as I heard about them as they are specialising in cotton yarn 🙂 and as you might know it’s one of the main yarn fibres I use being vegan. I was very eager to try out some of their yarn and I was lucky enough to be chosen to test a selection of their yarns, I couldn’t wait to start using them.
